My Futaba 8UAF radio has given me trouble free service from the day I purchased it in 1996. About five years ago I sent it to Radio South to have the Tx module pins re-soldered and for a general going over. I hardly ever use the timer function but recently I discovered that the timer alarm buzzer is not working.

Is there any simply way of trouble shooting this problem, or do I need to send it in for a check up. Everything else work perfectly.

Also, is it normal for the module to get warm while in use ?
