Default Quest about My radio

First off i want to say, I'm amazed how many smarties are here, and i too hope i can help everyone like you all do someday.

So i dusted off my controller a, Jr XP662 6channel and was starting ot build my new foam airplane with aielrons now!

I was just messing around, and noticed the batteries were dead on the controller. So i opened the plastic flap, and to my suprise there were no AA batteries. I forgot the controller has a charger style to it where its plugged in. I looked everywere for the charger but for the life of me i cant find it.

So i ask you, what should i do, i will bot buy a new controller just for 1 part. I dont think they even make this anymore!

Go to your LHS and buy an aftermarket wall charger made for JR radios.

yep...just buy a new wall charger...

now...also understand that if Ni batteries sit for too long they self discharge... so if the radio has sat for a year or two without any use, you should probably think about a new battery too

Emphatically, make sure you get a replacement that is compatible with the JR transmitter. If you have a manual, look up the charger that is made for the transmitter. If not, call Horizon. All JR transmitters that I've owned or heard about have the outer conductor on the charge connecter positive and the inner conductor negative. This is opposite from everyone else. Also, the charge rate should be 1/10 the battery rating for a safe overnight charge. If your battery is 600 mAh, then the charge rate should be 60 mA.
