Default JR 531 STD. Servo

I am wondering what the tourqe rateing is at 4.8 an6.0 volts on the older jr 531 servo? Should be a good throttle or choke servo i'm sure

The 531 is 51 oz.in. @4.8 volts-----I don't have the published 6 volt rating but add 15% and you will be close.

I'm running a 285 Micro on my throttle----17 /19oz.in. no problems whatsoever.
Just a few years back we ran full Pattern set ups with 20 oz.in. and felt we had power to spare!

I think we are ALL carried away with the torque figures now.
So much so that I am taking the weight gains (actually losses) and going the other way. So far I can NOT see a difference-----though I wouldn't go to the extremes.

Thanks wasp. I have three of the 531's just sitting here. Just wanted to know what they could do.
I'm sure i would't use a micro servo on a flight surface of a 33% Yak....Torque is a good thing on my models
