Default Help with futaba 3pm 2.4g

I have just installed a new futaba 3pm 2.4 g system into my hv 6.5 novak e-maxx and affter endless programing and re-programing, I can't figure out WHY!!! when I turn on power to ecs the thing goes full throtle for bout 2 seconds then stops like it's at nutral position. With factory traxxas radio system I could turn on and NOT have RUNAWAY.

Is this normal,if not any ideas what to do to fix this problem.

I think I have the fail safe set to nutral.
I have set and re-set the ecs all with same problem.

Thanks in advance.

From what you are describing, I would recommend, setting up the ESC and failsafe once more.

Start in a brand new model in your transmitter, make sure your trims are all centered, set up your failsafe, and then go through your ESC programming.

Starting over again in a new model will tell you if you have some type of mixing or rate causing your problem. But again, make sure that everything is centered and trimmed before starting to reset your ESC.

Well after re-programing all over again... another three times.

even with new model number..I have the same problem..

this is what I do see though:

trans..on.. green light on back of trans on

turn on power switch to ecs... lights and fan on ecs, as well as RED light on reciver (all this happening over bout first 1-2 second period)

next full throtle.. 2-3 seconds, then GREEN light ON RECIVER then stop..I have full control

drive with out problems

turn OFF transmiter nothing happens.... NO RUN AWAY!!!!

turn on transmitter and drive normal with full control.

Turn OFF ecs...

turn on ECS and you guessed it there goes bout $1800.00 worth of truck down the street into trafic ( thats what would have happend IF I would have let it...lol)

After it's 2-3 sec temper tantrum we get along just fine.

I have two 7.4 6000 Max-Amps wired as one 14.8

HV Novak 6.5 brushless with Novak lipo cut off.

I am lost for thought on what to do..
been to three hobby shops and none seem to have any Ideas what could be wrong.

It has to be something simple with the radio system cuse the traxxas radio worked fine out to bout 250-300 yards, then got some Interferance.
