Default Futaba 9ZAP D/R problem

I have a problem with setting up my 9ZAP. When i try to set the dual rate using the AFR and the dual rate function the elevator seems to have a different centre point, therefore when i flick the d/r switch the position of the elevator changes. This doesn't happen on any of the other control surfaces and it happens if i have one or two servo's operating the elevator. I have tried to set it up on my dads 9ZAP thinking it was a fault, but it happens on his radio also. This is obviously something stupid i am doing but i'm tearing my hair out !!!!! Help thanks

Sounds like a calibration issue that will need to be dealt with in a qualified shop.

Sounds like a programmed "offset" problem to me. I would set up a new model number [ one that had no previous used] and sart again. If you don't want to do that check all trim offsets, switches, and condition switch programs.
