OK who is going to be the first to give me a wireless setup for the servos . something like a servo with its own built in reciever. just imagine no wires, no bad connectors, no buying extensions . or am i asking for too much.

Why "fix" that which isn't remotely broken?

Skip the in between steps and just ask for a plane that lands itself when it has a problem of any sort.
When you get that worked out I'll quit flying--------where is the challenge??

Your 'suggestion' adds part counts and failure modes in multiples of the components (which incidentally are not trouble prone) you suggest replacing.

No, NOT a good idea IMO.

BTW just where is the power going to come from? A battery pack for each servo?

Yep, not a good idea IMO. mabny more points of prospective trouble. How do you plan to get info to the servos? Fiber-optics with their possible failure of connections? More RF links? Just what we need, more transmitters flying around. Infra-red? They need a pretty good line-of-sight link to some degree. No, I'm afraid what we currently have is about the best to expect for some time.
