Default AR9000

HI all, I just received my new JR 9303-2.4 Transmitter.I have a AR 9000 receiver that i bought a few months before, that I want to use in a BVM Bandit. My question is, is it OK to use this receiver in my Jet or do I have to send it back to Horizon for a upgrade.
Please help.

Default RE: AR9000

It'll work just fine, but if it's an older rx it probably doesn't have the fast re-connect software installed.

In a perfect world where your power systems should not be driven to the point of getting a low voltage reboot, it isn't necessary. But the upgrade is free and offers a less than 1/2 second re-connect if you get a brown out vs. the usual several seconds startup time.

I just sent all of my JR/Spektrum rx's off to Horizon yesterday for the upgrade and most people I've seen post about it, say it's usually only about a week to get them back.

Just my .02...
