Newbie question: Rx / Servo compatability
Hi there!
I'm getting back into R/C Modeling after about a 15 year break. I want to use my old models but I only want to replace what I have to, so I could use some help figuring this out.
I'm pretty sold on the Spektrum DX7 as an Rx; so my question is this:
Can I keep my old Futaba S148 servos in my old gliders and replace only the Rx and battery with Spektrum equipment?
I can't find any specs on Spektrum servos, but I have seen that the S148 has a 1.52ms neutral pulse width. I do know the polarities on the connectors are compatible, but is the control?
Any help or info greatly appreciated!

RE: Newbie question: Rx / Servo compatability
[8D] Yes the servo's are compatabile...you have to cut off the GUIDE TAB on the Futaba servo's..and round off the plug..scrape it with a Hobby knife, using a scrape motion..it will fit better..
