Futaba Conquest radio
Im just getting back into R/C after about 12 yrs, and am quite interested in electric park flyers. I have two Futaba Conquest FM 4 ch radios dating back about 12yrs. The batteries in the Tx still hold a good charge. Can I still use these radios at most flying fields? Also, can i use an electric setup with ESC, etc. with these radios or should I just invest in two new radios? Any help will be appreciated, Im an old glow flyer, and this electric stuff is really cool, but all new to me.

RE: Futaba Conquest radio
Yes, the Conquest radios are 1991 compliant radios. http://www.futaba-rc.com/manuals/index.html
They will work fine with ESC plugged into the throttle channel (#3) as both of mine do. Just remember that for ANY Futaba radio, you must reverse the throttle channel for ANY ESC to work properly. I don't know why, that's just the way it is.
