Default "Buddy Boxing"

Is it possible to buddy a Futaba FF6 (Master) to a Hitec Laser 4 radio does anyone know?

Yes and either can be used as master but you must use the Hitec directional cord not the Futaba cord. If you do both Tx can emit a signal and radio damage can be done in isolated combinations.

Hi,

If you are handy you'll make a buddy lead like the one mentioned in my website, chapter 7, figure 7f-03. This lead does NOT include power from master to slave and is thus very safe in case some wires goes nuts. And all in all, only 2 wires to solder at both end, and no danger with frying parts in your Futaba, like it is mentioned in chapter 3 of my website. With this lead, both transmitters must be switched on, but crystal of slave transmitter must be removed (as always, to be safe).

If no self-made buddy lead, then, indeed, only use a Hitec lead as mentioned by John.
