Default JR 10X heli/airplane question

Is there any way to program one of these types of radios to fly both helis and airplanes, or is it model specific without options? Thanks.

Most Helicopters now require swash mix (ccpm) in the radio. Aircraft only radios can not do this mixing. Gyro gain, etc. is easier to set up with a heli radio. Therefore, you must have a Helicopter radio.

Most simple planes can be flown with a 10X Heli transmiter with no problems. There are so many programming possibilities with the 10X you can probably get it to fly most any plane you have.

I got an eclipse...do they do this? I have sorta read the manual (what I had to) and I think it does it but aint sure. For the money I expect it to wake up before me and have coffee ready.

I am not all that familiar with programming of Hitec, although they seem to make good radios. Plenty of smart Hitec users reading this could tell us.
