Spektrum Dx6i Tx & AR6000 ?
Wat happens if one uses the full range Tx with the short range AR6000 (from Dx6)
will the range improve a bit, a lot?
P.S. compatibility is no issue with the Dx6i

Be aware that your tx will use more battery power when transmitting in the DSM mode rather than DSM2...[8D]

The AR6000 is not considered full range due to its lack of antenna diversity, the problem is with signal blocking or shadowing if you use it in a larger model. Any DSM2 transmitter, switches to DSM when bound to an AR6000, so there is really no difference than when using the DX6, the transmitter is using the same output as a DX6.

But other than that as I mentioned the range limitation is primarily with the rx and this poster has asked questions about range/use on the AR6000 before...
