DX7 and using 9 channel receivers?
can you use a 9 channel receiver with a DX7?
Need to set up a biplane with 4 aileron servo's,2 elevator,1 rudder and a throttle
and possibly a smoke channel

RE: DX7 and using 9 channel receivers?
You could use it. You will have to use Y-connectors on the ailerons and elevator servos. You will still only have 7 channels of operations which is limited by your 7ch radio transmitter.
To take advantage of the 9 channels on the receiver, you would need a 9 channel transmitter.
Very brief I know, but hope this kind of answers your question.
Good luck!

RE: DX7 and using 9 channel receivers?
ok,
how about running all those servo's in a 7 channel AR7000
Am I ok with doing non-reversing Y connectors for the seperate left and right pairs of aileron servo's and then running those pairs on their own channels?
Will that be too much draw thru one channel? Am running Hitec 5985 digitals on the elevator halfs and rudder. Hitec 5645's on the Ailerons
Always set my elevators and ailerons up with dual servos on individual channels and then mix them and want to remain consistent. This is the first Bipe I'm setting up.
