RE: Futaba R607Fs vs. R617FS
ORIGINAL: Rudy F
The responsetime of the 607 is about 5ms faster, better for planks.
The 617 minimizes pulstrain-differences of the helis swapplate

RE: Futaba R607Fs vs. R617FS
Hi Lars,
me, my scope and my testing procedure from hand to servo-start since about 10 years .
e g look the diagram here: http://members.aon.at/flug.fiala/reaktion.html
And difference 607/617: http://members.aon.at/flug.fiala/T7R6x7beide.jpg
The cause: For an overleaping output of channels 6 and 1, channel 1 must wait until receiving of ch6.
Greetings from Vienna, Rudy

RE: Futaba R607Fs vs. R617FS
I'm not sure what the technical differences are, but the Futaba R607FS was discontinued so I presume the Futaba R617FS just replaces it.

Yup, it replaced the R607FS two years ago
I bought one of the R607FS receivers when Tower was getting rid of the last of the stock, saved a few bucks, and in a planker like a 4 Star 60, no detectable difference.
