Default AR9100 & Single Battery Pack

I have an AR9100 that I am going to use a single A123 2300mah pack on. I am wondering if I can use two power leads off the pack to supply each lead of the AR9100? I think running two 2300mah packs would be too much.

I don't see why not, but I guess my question is why?

Single A123 with a 16g. output and a single input should carry an awful lot of current through those 16g. inputs.

If you want dual batts, a pair of VPX's only weighs about 1/2 ounce over a single A123, just put 'em together with the 16g. outputs.
