I've had a look on the web and can't find any sites with updates later than January 2008.

You need to enter TX serial. The pages are in Japanese and so is the update pdf instructions but the update works fine.


Another addition not mentioned above is that now the frequency and PPM/PCM/G3 settings can be set in one go instead of one at a time (with the TX asking if it should transmit inbetween)

Also small letters have been added to the alphabet on the 12Z

My Feedback: (1)

I'm still debating between getting a new Futaba or JR set. The ability to install new features is certainly a strong PLUS as even the new JR12x firmware isn't user upgradeable (plus of course JR hasn't come into the 21st century and included any kind of flash card ability - maybe in another 10 years).

Wow, it took two years, freenaming of all functions is just what I asked for here two years ago. That will make things so much easier. looking forward to the update.
