I have a new Fuyaba 6xas which came with the usual servos,rx and battery pack. Now I want order a new Rx for a new plane. Tower on their order form ask if I want a high or low band. I only know that my frquency is 40. What is high or low band. I thought all airplane Txs were on the 72MH frequency. Would someone please explain? Thanks for your imput.

Default Only from Futaba

Futaba (and only Futaba) splits the 72 Mhz band into two halves and tunes their receivers for the center of either half. Everyone else tunes ther receivers for the center of the entire band.

The upper half (high band) is ch36-60 (72.51Mhz - 72.99Mhz), and the lower half (low band) is ch11-35 (72.01Mhz - 72.49Mhz). If you want the new receiver for channel 40 (72.59Mhz), that would be high band.
