Default Hitec Flash 5X

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone has any input on a Hitec Flash 5X transmitter. I just picked one up on ebay and would like to know how you guys or gals feel about it. I will not be using Hitec servos because I have seen too many fail in r/c cars so I don't trust them in my planes.

Thanks.

Look at the thread : "Which entry level computer radio?" in this same forum. I love my Flash 5x and I have never had a Hitec servo fail.

I have a 5X and it's been a great starter computer radio. I think you're making a big mistake on the Hitec servoes though. The 425 is a great dual BB servo for a great price ($15 from www.servocity.com).
