i have a futaba radio.... ch35... since the high and low bands are tuned toward the middle of the band, and ch35 is right on the end, does this make channel 35 a bad choice? if it is a bad choice, how bad of a bad choice was it? would it be better to buy something more toward the middle in the future, or does it not really matter?

Especially if you ever use a non-Futaba receiver. Everyone else tunes for the center of the entire 72Mhz band.

It's not an issue at all. Rather your decision should be based on how crowded is this channel in your club.........
