Any JR transmtter with a trainer jack has DSC. When you plug a trainer or DSC cord into the trainer jack, power is sent to he encoder board, but not the RF board. Thus, modulation (signal) is produced, but is not broadcast on a transmission carrier. Instead, it is sent to the Trainer/DSC jack.

The Quattro has this jack.

The problem is, for us in the USA at least, the Quattro is often sold with the R610, which does not have DSC.

Also, if the DSC compatible receiver is in an aircraft, you must have a switch harness with the third (signal) wire, otherwise DSC won't work. In the USA, Quattros are sold with the cheaper switch harness with no signal wire.

You could plug your battery into an unused receiver channel and the DSC into the place for the battery.
