Default OH NO Fried my Futaba Receiver

Yesterday I pluged my battery into the Futaba R127DF Receiver backwards ( It has a JR plug )
and Fried it.
Is it worth sending a FM Receiver to Futaba or just buy another one ?
They are not very expensive

Thanks in advance
Fred..

I just sent one in to futaba and it cost me $15 to have it fixed when a wing screw went through the bat wire and shorted everything out. If the board is melted, probably cheaper to order one. I just got two from servo city for $50 each. Pretty good buy.
