Default MPX4000 switch for flap

I am using slider `E' for flap 0deg, 20deg 45deg.

I want to use a 3 position switch. The one I want to use is set as S7 (not a control). I do not want to plug it into a control socket as it is used as a switch for other models.

Seem to be brain dead, can't think of how this can be done.

Any help please.

Assign flap servo to servomix.

In servomix, set inputs 1, 2 and 3 to fixed val.

In switches assign Transfer switch T1 to S07.

Menu1, servo, travel/curve, input 1 to whatever % value for flap up, set switch to T1-3*, input 2 to % value for mid flap, switch to T1-2*, input 3 to flaps down value, switch to T1-1*

A book will not happen, for there is no money to made in it, most likely money would be lost. Since only a fraction of users buy such books, there has to be an awful lot of radios sold to make a book's sales figures cover the cost never mind make a profit. It might work with Futaba's sales numbers, but not Mpx's. And web forums like this destroy the market anyway. Would Don Edberg's book ever have got off the ground if web forums and Ann-Marie Cross had been available at the time? I doubt it.

If I ever did publish something, would you pay £15ish for it, or just ask here? I would stop helping people, all I would answer is "buy my book", but someone else like John MacNamara would be able to help you.

Now, if I get JMc and Mike Shellim to co-author it with me, and remove the 3 of us from giving any web assistance............! I have mused over the idea of a CD-ROM/DVD for the 4000, though with Hitec USA soon to get to grips with marketing the Evo in the USA maybe that is where the greater sales figures lie. But for 2 years Mpx has been saying that the Evo manual would come on CD with video clips - there is no sign of it but they might still do it, which would torpedo my idea. Anyway I don't have a video camera or a digi stills camera, or any experience or software for multimedia authoring, otherwise I would be experimenting now with a CD manual including step by step video for the 4000. I think the ability to watch programming on your PC or TV screen, and follow it on your Tx as it happens, does have big potential to help people and I have been thinking about it. But is there a market of more than 50 sales in English language?

You wont need it - if you choose the EVO you're certainly no 'idiot'.

Well, this seems to be a manual under construction:
