Default Hitec radio w/ futaba receiver

I'm looking at a new Hitec FM 6 channel radio (Laser) system, but I also have a spare 7 channel Futaba receiver (127DF) that I'd like to use in a 2nd plane. I've read that Hitec TX's are compatible with Futaba RX's. Is this true?

Hitec does sell an after market receiver that will work with futaba radios. Matter of fact found a 7 channel supreme Hitec for futaba J plug sitting in the radio bin. I have used HItec with JR, Aitronics and Futaba when I had one. So far no problems. Remember to specify what radio your using when you buy the Hitec receiver. depending on the brand they use low or band high band on the same freq.

Yes if you buy a Hitec TRANSMITTER it will work with a Futaba RECEIVER.
