WHO SELLS LOST AIRPLANE ALARMS???
I did an unsuccessful search on Tower for a lost airplane alarm. The little device plugs into an unused channel and when signal from the transmitter is lost or the transmitter turned off it emits a loud tone. This is to be used in a RC toy device that is dropped from another RC plane. It could help in finding the thing if it falls into the tall grass around my field.

Thats pretty much what I thought. Somebody on rcu said it wouldnt because you dont loose the servo pulse train on a lockout. Which, (let me know if I'm wrong) is what the alarm triggers off of. No signal pulse, timeout, then alarm. Is that true?

That's correct.Any receiver that has "Failsafe" (PCM,2.4 etc.) it won't trigger.
