Can I velcro my receiver to the top of my 2200 mah, 11.3v inside my Multiplex fun jet. Speed control lead lengths and battery lead lengths are stock length and I just can't get the CG in place. Please excuse my ignorance. I'm just getting into electrics.

2.4 is very resistant to interference that might prevent a 72Mhz Rx from functioning properly. If a 2.4 Rx can be put on top of an Electronic Ignition module, for a gasoline engine, and still work perfectly, it should not have any problem sitting on top of a battery. I have done this before, with my Spektrum AR6100 Rx's, without a problem.
