Be carefull MC there is no cross brand compatablity with PCM systems and at least Hitec and Futaba have older and newer systems that are not compatable i.e. the older Futaba system is not compatable with the newer Futaba system.

I am not a Futaba user and don,t know Rx you need but suggest you research before buying anything.

OK MC, your 'E' mail got me off my butt and did a little digging. I have an old Conquest PCM, it is an FP-T6NPK and the matching RX is a: Humongus FP-R127DP. I suspect this system is the older Futabas system that if memory serves me correctly was called a 512 PCM system. However I cannot confirm this but possibly may be the RX you need Do be carefull.

Default pcm rx

John, thanks again for your reply. I've just downloaded the manual from Futaba. The rx is a FP-R129DP or FP-R137GP. Both are for the 1024 system I have. Both say 1024 on the front. I believe I'll look for the FP-R129DP. As you say the 127DP is for the 512 system. Thank you for the help. Marty Question, when I post a reply to a thread, does it automaticaly send that person an email?

The following 1024 receivers will work with the 7U:

R138DP
R148DP
R149DP
R309DPS

Those are the PCM receivers in current production.
The 138 is cheapest at U$100, the 309 most expensive at U$280.
The R128DP is for the 512 system.
The R129 and R137 are out of production, not available anymore and can't be repaired by Futaba.

I've noticed several people selling PCM receivers in RCU's For Sale classifieds. I suggest you check there.

A quick search for 129DP brought up this one: http://www.rcuniverse.com/showthread...hreadid=160602]

Check both here and ebay. I have seen them both places. I just got a few from servo city and they were great and pretty darn good prices. Couldn't find used for the same price so I got them new. Rather have new anyway.
