Dual Conversion ? Compatable
Hello,
Can i use a single conversion reciever with a dual conversion transmitter?
Let me clarify, I have a new rd 8000 with an 8 channel dc reciever on 15, I would like to put a lite weight receiver in my hand launch glider.....Can it be a single conversion? Would I need to put single conversion crystals in the transmitter?
Am, fm, single conversion, dual conversion, negative shift, positive shift, tuned to the middle, tuned high, tuned low,
I'm really confused, Thanks in advance for your help

Dual Conversion ? Compatable
Single/Dual conversion are characteristics only of the receiver NOT the transmitter. Your transmitter will work with either type of receiver without any change. It just needs to be on the correct channel and modulation (PPM or PCM) that's all.
