Default Hitec Buddy Cord Pin Out?

Need the pin out of the Hitec Buddy cord urgently. Have a Hitec Flash 5 and an old Hitec Focus 6 radio. Looked everywhere. Can anybody (please) help me? Here in Africa Hobby Shops are scarce and specialized parts even more so. So.......... We have to build it our selves.
It will be "GREATLY" appreciated!

Default Hitec Buddy Cord Pin Out?

It is the same as Futaba with a couple exceptions.

Hitec connects pins 4 & 5 together on the slave end to disable the RF circuitry, and they also connect pin 6 to ground.

The best source for buddy cord info I have found is http://users.belgacom.net/TX2TX/

Contact pin configuration viewed on female plug mating face :
1 = +V batteries (SWITCHED)
Shield = GROUND
2 = OUT
3 = IN
4 + 5 = shorted together on slave end (student)
6 = shorted to ground shield

Thanx for the help

Am I understanding you correct?
("------->" indicates a wire connection)
(" - - - - -" indicates an open circuit)

Master: ***********************Slave:
1 = +V batteries------------------------->1 = +V batteries
Shield = GROUND------------------------>Shield = GROUND
2 = OUT ----------------------------------->3=in
3 = IN-------------------------------------->2=out
4+5 open - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 4 + 5 = shorted together
6 = shorted to ground shield--------->6 = shorted to ground shield
