I have been flying rc for many years but also am newbie with the newer computer radios. Just bought a New old stock Futaba 7UAP complete w/rec, servos etc. My question is how well will a hitec RCD 3200 futaba shift receiver work with this transmitter, or for that matter any other brand receiver???

I have owned the 7UAPS radio and it works fine with Futaba compatible Rx's from Hitec. Only PPM Rx's of course. If you want PCM, you need to set the Tx modulation to PCM and use a Futaba PCM Rx. Remember - when you go into the Modulation screen, the Factory Default is PCM, so you need to change it for a PPM Rx.
