Default Hitec hs55 reverse action

I need to reverse the movement of an hs55 servo. They say it can't be done but why can't I just switch the hot(red) and ground(black) wire at the plug. Without using the radio reverse feature. I can't change the positionof the servo or horn. This is the F5-E tiger foamie. thanks for any info......

Won't work. You can switch the wires on the pot inside the servo if it isn't a surface mounted component

You need to Reverse the wires on the Pot as well as the wires on the motor.

You could also purchase a Servo Reversing extension.

You can also order one reversed from Servo City for an extra 10 bucks.

These 2 elevator servos used in the F5 Tiger are imbedded in the foam on a Y connector. I just read where futaba and hitec micros move in opposite directions. If true I could just get a futaba micro....????

That is true for standard sized servos so may also be true for the smaller ones.
