Default TX and RX channel compatibility

I just bought a Futaba XAS on channel 19 but have a futaba receiver with channel 56 crystals, I believe high band.

I have been flying with a Futaba four channel 56 TX.

MY QUESTION: How can I use my new XAS on Channel 19 with my old RX which currently is a high band with 56 crystals?

For proper performance, you'll need to have the receiver retuned to channel 19, or the transmitter retuned to channel 56.

Does retuning the receiver mean just changing to a 19 channel crystal or is there some concern with the fact that the receiver is a high band? (and channel 19 is a low band freq.)

Futaba says that to move from high band to low band, or vice versa, requires retuning by a technician. Changing crystals on a receiver within a high or low band doesn't require it. Other manufacturers are different, but that's what Futaba says to do.
