Default Feigao Receiver

Hi

I've damaged my Futaba 5 channel FM receiver. To get it replaced, it is very costly. Alternatively, I've found out that Feigao has 6/8 channel recevers at one third of the price of Futaba.

Anyone has tried this Feigao receivers on Futaba Skysport 4 transmitter (40 MHz)?

Thanks for any tips!

Default Feigao Receiver

YES, I BOUGHT 2 PCS OF 8 CH (36MC/ 40MC EACH) IN SHEZHEN OF CHINA YESTERDAY, I TRIED TO TEST ITS FUNCTIONALLY BY INSTALLING TO A SET PLANE, WHICH IS ORIGINALLY SET WITH A 9C , I REPLACE THE 149D (36MC) AND USE THE 40MC ONE,WHICH IS MATCHING THE 40MC MODULE OF MPX'S MC4000 TX, IT WORKS OK SO FAR, WITH A RANGE TEST OF ABOUT 20+/-2 METERS BUT WITH THE TX CONTROL INSIDE THE HOUSE, (PLANE AT THE GARDEN TX AT HOME).

I BOUGHT THEM FOR THEIR RELATIVELY LOW COST & ITS MINI-SIZED YET STURDY LOOKING, (I MAY PLACE A PIC TO SHOW ITS SIZES WITH OTHER RXS) .I DON'T WANT TO RISK THE HIGHER PRICE GEARS WITHIN THE PLANE AGAIN. COS' I JUST LOST A PLANE WITH A 148DP AFTER A CRASH, IT WAS PICKED (THEFT) BY SOME KIDS. SO I AM TRYING TO USE SOME LOW PRICE RX /SERVOS IN THE PLANE WHEN I FLY IN SOME OPEN SPACES.

I GOT THOSE RXs AT AROUND HKD200( 12,6: 1 pound) ,LESS X'TALS. I MAY PUT IT TO REAL FLIGHT TEST NEXT WEEK TO SEE ITS REAL PERFORMANCE...

Default Thanks

Hi David

Thanks for sharing your experience with Feigao RX.

Anyway, I've already purchased a 8-channel Feigao RX. Tested with my Futaba TX (40MHz)... seems to be working. Not sure how it will perform when actually at the flying field.

Looking forward to your test flight report with the new RX.

Thanks again.
