Default zx10 rx to brushless?

Im thinking about getting a 5ch zx10 tx/rx as a budget deal for an easy star.

I may never convert the motor to brushless but out of curiosity, lets say I plan too...would the brushless motor plug directly to the ZX10 receiver or do I need a special board? Ive read two different responses to this and Im not sure which applies to me, one says, no, will work fine, another says I need a brush2less or EZ ESC circuit board.......then I read where RTF kits come with the ZX10 and brushless.

I think the TX/RX im looking at comes from a t-28 rtf kit if that matters.

thanks
