I am in no way being sarcastic, but the manual covers all those items fairly clearly. One thing I would recommend is to start at the begining of the airplane section and go step-by-step through the model setup. You'll find that certain switches may need to be inhibited or activated to allow your particular setup. If you did not properly set up your transmitter in the first steps, then some later choices you want to make may not be available.

Default RE: JR 9303 programming help

I love the 9303 and I have two Tx's, but the manual does not explain everything clearly. The radio is fantastic, but the manual is lacking in several areas. The same can be said for the Futaba T7C FASST, so I am not just picking on JR.

My first computer radio was the Futaba T6XA. I progressed to the 7UAPS, 8AUPS, and 9CAP. As the complexity increased, the manuals became more technical. The How To was there, but how to set up real world scenarios was not. Don Edberg did a great job writing 3rd party books with Real World scenarios. I never would have guessed how to use two Programmable Mixers to put Flaps on a switch.

When I bought a used XP8103, I found features that were missing from the 9CAP. When the XP9303 came out, it was clearly superior to the 9CAP. The manual was not as well designed.

When is a manual going to be written by people who actually use all the features of the radio?
