My airtronics throttle servo does not move in the first 1/2 of the stick movement. Its a Airtronics RD 8000. In other words , When i push up the stick the servo doesn't move till the stick gets to the middle of the gimbal' then the servo moves. In addition there never was any ratcheting like on the other rd 6000 radio i have. any ideas. i've already ckd the reciever and servo and they aren't the problem.

Make sure the EPA on the throttle channel is set to 100% in both directions and your in the ACRO mode not HELI . If that doesn't work go to a different model on the TX that doesn't have anything else programed into it and try the throttle channel.

That's a Heli feature. No throttle ratchet wheel. Like the man says, check mode, you may be in Heli mode.

thanks it turned out it was the EPA . the ratcheting is there but it is very light compared to my rd 6000. Is there a way to increase the amount of ratcheting?
