Hi;Just looked obn the Tower site only shows the $429 price and nothing about either deal?AM I lookingin the wrong spot went to HiTec Radios?Ihaveboth Spectrum and Fasst modules for my 9C but think may sell these and just go with the HiTec tired of the price for receivers from those outfits, appears that even the 6 channel is sutible for use on large planes and is only $47 I believe! Thanks!

I find that one of the best price places for Hitec stuff is http://shop.tomsrc.com/advanced_sear...hannel&x=8&y=6
If you sign up there is a discount price. Also, shippingi is only $2.50 for most stuff. 6 channel is $42. But the stuff sells out fast. you can also find them on Ebay from the same guy and others.

Nope!
I usually go into the timer and go up a minute then back down a minute to reset it. I didn't know if I was the only person that didn't know how to reset it.

I searched thru the manual and it does not mention reset of timer 1 and 2, just the main "integral" timer. So the change it method is the only one Iguess.
A trick I use is Iset the timer to start and stop from the throttle. And Iset the start % throttle high enough that if I am just idling the timer does not run. Not perfect but close enough.

Also, try http://www.amainhobbies.com/advanced...RORA+9&x=4&y=7. A Main Hobbies. They have it for $399 and if you ask they will give you $25 off with free shipping or $5.50 3 say shipping. That is where Igot mine. Very fast shipping too.
AJ , Isent the manual file Wed evening. If you did not get it then maybe it is too big for email. I tried sending it to my self and it timed out after about 5 minutes.

But you can reset the timers , activate the timer and press on the timer ,.............................. it resets to 0:00. But it must be activated , not : OFF
Thanks to :4*60 , for that one

Jim,
Well you tried, what else can you do? Thanks for the thought!
Michel,
I know about that but I like the count down timer set for in the range of 10 - 15 minutes depending on the plane. I can set that up on any other radio that I have had and just reset it back to the start time, I haven't figured that out yet with the Aurora. I think my Optima 6 even does it ???

If your meaning how do you set up the timer to countdown instead of count up, you change that on the [Timer] menu by changing the Mode from Up to Down.

RE: New Hitec Aurora 9-Channel 2.4Ghz Radio System
Hi Guys
Please excuse this rather basic question.
I have been using a Futaba 2.4 Transmitter for about a year now but have just changed to the Aurora.
With the Futaba the antenna folds towards you and points up when in use.
With the JR/Spektrum the antenna points straight at the model.
Which is the best way with the Aurora?

RE: New Hitec Aurora 9-Channel 2.4Ghz Radio System
something I noticed with my A9.
The Tx is on and the Rx is on, transmitting mode I see the voltage of the Rx on the Tx screen.
I turn off the Rx from the switch or unplugging the battery the Tx still showing the Rx is on with its last voltage even after few minutes the Rx is off the Tx still showing the Rx is on?

That is the way it seems to work. Isuspect once the Rx stops sending the downlink voltage updates the Tx is just holding the last data. Mike Hitec could tell us for sure. Not a problem as Isee it but it could be confusing at first I guess.

RE: New Hitec Aurora 9-Channel 2.4Ghz Radio System
Spektrum says the antenna should be up, not at the model.
If you have the Hitec promotional module, the antenna points pretty much at the model since it lower. Seems to work just as well but then Ihave not hit ever heading and azimuth in the universe with it yet.....
