Default S9206 Fut servos and 6V systems

I purchased two S9206 servos approx. a year ago. At that time, I was sure that both a 4.8 and 6.0 voltage rating was given on torque. Recently, I was informed that Futaba no longer recommends using this servo in 6V systems. I have a redundant battery system that utilizes two 1100 mah 6 volt batteries connected to an Electrodynamics Pow"r Back'R. Andy Low, Electrodynamics, states that the voltage seen by each of the S9206 servos used for my ailerons, should be 5.0-5.5 volts, and I should have no problems. My question is simple: Has anyone used S9206 servos in a 6V system? Had any long term problems?
