Default Battery connection on Hitec Micro 555

Hi!

Is it possible to use any of the channels for the battery. The orginal battery-slot is also a 5th channel, but then you need a y-harness and parallel-connect the 5th servo and the battery.

I have a friend who would like to use this reciever in a sail plane with no rudder, but two aileron-servos. And to avoid using a y-harness, he wonders if he could plug the battery in the slot for the 4th channel (rudder-channel).

Anyone tried this or know if it would work?
All opinions are welcome

Yes you can plug the battery in to any open slot. Or use the Y connector as you mentioned
