Default Basic/Advanced, Airtronics RDS8000 TX

I can't find in the manual for my Airtronics RDS8000 transmitter where it describes changing the mode from Basic to Advanced. If you can't tell me where in the manual this information is located, can you decribe how it is done?

Thanks!

Looking at the screen where it has the CH marking you hit the right (CH+) or left (CH-) button until you see the "etc" at the far right of the window, then use the down button until you get to the the BASIC window, then hitting the yes or no button will turn it "ON" or "OFF". When BASIC is OFF then you get the advanced features.

I have the manual! I said: I can't find in the manual for my Airtronics RDS8000 transmitter where it describes changing the mode from Basic to Advanced. Thanks all for your help calhusker, that's the info I needed, it's on page 61 of the manual, almost to the back. A basic-necessary bit of information, not described in the table of contents and explained long after it is needed!

So, who writes/proof-reads these technical manuals anyway? There not too good at it, that's for sure!

They just put it there on purpose to make you read the whole manual.
