Default Telemetry for RC cars

Is there a way to put telemetry on a car without using the Spectrum transmitter. I don't care if I can't read it as the car is running as long as I can check it once I stop the car. It is for my Ofna DM1 pro

I just ordered a Futabal 4pk transmitter. I didn't get the spectrum because I heard it sometimes has range issues.

Any help would be appreciated.

Default RE: Telemetry for RC cars

Spektrum systems as of right now do not include telemetry.

IIRC, there is a new 2.4GHz system just out with onboard telemetry.

There is also the Eagle Tree system availble which works independently of your tx/rx.
