DX5E
what are the capabilities of this radio or is it just for park flyers?
I can get a really good deal on one but wanted to use it for normal sized planes and maybe a large plane.
I cant find where it says what its for anywhere.

It's actually in the top level description... and in the overview.

RE: DX5E
O.K. so it can be put in any aircraft? Without the worry about the radio's range?
Also what is up with the 4 AA batteries in the DX5A and the DX6I Do they not need 9.6 volts to work and how long will 4.8 volts last?
These are the questions that i cant find the answers for.

RE: DX5E
Yes, you canuse it withany plane that requires 5 or less channels.
No worries about the TX's range as long as the receiver is also full range. (I have a DX5e TXwith an AR500 RXin my H9 Alpha 40 RTF). I believe the AR6100 RX is a park flyer RX, all the other Spektrum RX's are full range to my knowledge (someone will correct me if I'm wrong).
The original AA batts. that caame with my RTF are still showing full charge LED light onmy TX. I bought it three months ago, and have about 20 flights on it.
I did just purchase some rechargeable Sanyo Eneloops, so when I do change out the TX batts. I'll be able the recharge the Eneloops right in the TX.
