Default buddy box question

I've got a couple of questions - Which transmitter is actually transmitting when two are connected as student/instructor? I have a single stick (Century Seven) and wonder if there is a problem connecting it to a two-stick transmitter?
Thanks-
John

Shouldn't matter. Plug them in and make sure they are compatible. The single stick would be transmitting. You don't turn the power on the buddy box on. It is just a dummy transmitter.

AM, FM, one stick two stick mode 1 mode 2 doesn't matter. The slave transmitter sends the baseband signal to the master transmitter which then blindly transmits via it's RF. Accept maybe the 9C which can be set to mix the signal sent from the buddy box.
