JR receiver with high voltage servo
I would like to start using the high voltage servos at their full potentials at 7.2V.At the same time JR receivers that I have are only rated to 6V.Currently I’m using the regulator for the whole system (servos and receiver). What do I have to do to have unregulated voltage to the servos and drop down voltage to the receiver?
All help is greatly appreciated,

RE: JR receiver with high voltage servo
I said "JR receivers that I have" are only rated up to 6V. These are 72Mhz receivers, R955s for example.Iwouldlike to know, whatis the most economical way to separete receiver voltage from servo voltage?
Thanks,
Thanks,

RE: JR receiver with high voltage servo
Well I'm certainly happy with my decision to switch to the 2.4GHz radio system.
If you're wanting to run unregulated Li-Po's I know the Spektrum/JR stuff can handle those voltages. I'm not sure what the amperage specs are for the 7 channel and below rx's and that's not usually too much of an issue with models which would run 7 channel rx's, but all the 9 channel and above rx's from Spektrum/JR can handle 35 amps continous and burst to 50 amps on the electrical buss of the rx. Bax has stated over on the Futaba support forum that the FASST rx's are only good to 8 amps. So depending on what you want to run, it might behoove you to look at the specs on the various 2.4GHz offerings as I've not looked at anything other than those two systems.

RE: JR receiver with high voltage servo
This is the item I've found on Servo City web site. It looks like would do the trick, but I have not tried it yet.
