I am trying to find out if there is a low and high band on this rx.. I fly 2.4 but want to give it to a neighbor thay flies on 72mhz..channel 44... my rx is 60. can we just swap out the crystal?

Sure can[8D] Channel 44 is hi band, so no problem going up to ch 60. Just make sure you use a correct Futaba dual conversion crystal.
