FUTABA TRADE-UP PROGRAM!!!
Huge news today folks, we have just launched a Futaba Trade-Up program! If you buy a FASST system between now and October 31, 2009, you can trade in the old, tired, inferior system you're replacing and receive a Trade-Up Certificate worth up to $250 toward more Futaba merchandise! For complete details see the link below. Don't miss out on this one!

Question, how do you tell if your radio was manufactured after 1991. Is there a date code on the TX??

RE: FUTABA TRADE-UP PROGRAM!!!
The way I read it is, buy a 14MZ and give them a junk 72 mhz radio and you'll get $100.00. give them a 2.4 radio (ex. 6EX 2.4) and you'll get $250.00.

Doug, I read it the same way.
Give them my Hitec Laser 4 and get $100 off of a 14MZ.

I can appreciate the effort, but that is just not a good deal.

I am curious though, what are you going to do with all the transmitters you get? Are they scraped or is there another purpose? It just seems strange that you would require a receiver to be sent if they were not going to be reused in some way.

Also, if you have upgraded to 2.4, why would you want to send that to them? Being that those systems are what Futaba is offering the most money for. Unless you are unhappy with your old Spektrum. You are much better going with Ebay as at least then it is cash in your hands.

I agree Vertical. One can make a decision on what they want to do with their TX (I've been known to trade in a car for less than I could sell it), but having to hand in 2.4 receivers makes NO sense whatsoever! Cash for Clunkers is a stupid idea here, too.

RE: FUTABA TRADE-UP PROGRAM!!!
I am happy about the trade up program. I just got a 8fg with a SB reciever for $404. Now I get to trade in my worthless dx5E radio(thats sits in a corner collecting dust) and I get enough money to get another reciever! So for $400 I got the radio and 2 recievers. Im a happy man!!!!!!
