Default X9303 & Flight Modes

Does anyone know how to program the gear channel to extend/retract the gear via Flight Modes. I appreciate your replies.

Why don't you just use the gear channel? The Flight Modes are normally used to setup different control configurations like putting all three axis rates on one switch, activating certain mixes and so on.

It would be easier for someone to offer help if you gave us some idea of what you want to accomplish?

Here is what I want:

FM0 - Gear down, Take off flaps, Low rates
FM1 - Gear up, Flaps up, "manuvering" rates
FM2 - Gear down, Flaps down, Low rates

I could accomplish this with ease on my Multiplex P4000, but can't seem to get it done on my X9303. I want to do this with just 1 three position switch.

Can it be done?

I sincerely appreciate your help.

I have never set up retracts before, but have used several mixes for creative control with the x9303. The first thing that comes to mind, is to set up 2 mixes using a flap channel for master and the gear channel as a slave. The mixes differ from the selection of a flight mode position and the appropriate gains. Since the gear is only down when the flaps are down, this could be a possible mix.

Do you happen to have the JR PC data transfer interface?
