Default 9ZWCII Need Help!!!!!!!!!

Hi All

I have a new 9z and I'm trying to configure a U-Can-Do. It has six servos. The aileon has one servo each (right/left) as does the elevator. I've connected the Aileron servos to channel one and six as stated in the manual. Channel six is used to activiate flaps.

I've connected the Elevator servos to channel two and five. Channel five is identified as Land gear.

Do I have the servo's connected correctly?

I'm trying to get the Aileon and Elevators to work in the duel rate mode and I can't do it. Each time I try to set them up for duel rate the elevator control surfaces off set from the horizontal stab when I hit the D/R switch.

Should I be connecting the one Aileon servo to the Aux 1 channel and the elevator servo to the Aux 2 channel?

It there a mix required to ensure the elevator control surfaces have the same throw?

Any an all help would be appreciated.

Regards,

The "secret" to the 9Z is remembering that every condition must be configured TOTALLY. Your dual-rate mode is a separate condition, activated by a switch, yes?

Sounds to me like that condition does not have all the parameters set up. More precisely, the ATVs or direction of the elevators in the dual rate condition do not match those in "normal" condition.

Sorry, I don't have my radio with me. Hopefully, somebody else will chime in here and give you specific menus to check. I can't remember all of them, as I'm still learning the radio myself.

BTW, by all means activate the ailevator function. You only THOUGHT the UCD had a fast roll rate. With alievators, it is simply unbelievable.

Steve
