Need LCD for DX7/ JR 7203
I am from Mumbai, India. I have JR XP7202 7 channel Transmitter and I accidentally drop it and to my surprise it broke my LCD screen!!!!
Though it is not visible from outside, I am missing few horizontal lines on the LCD screen. That is making me nervous; whenever I switch it ON, I could not properly see anything, configure or do anything, though transmitter is working fine.
Since sending it back to US for repair is not possible as it may cost a lot, and moreover Customs department may create complications and may not allow it back to India. I can not afford to buy new one.
It will be great if anybody can help me in getting new LCD panel for 7202.
As per my knowledge DX7 and JR 7202 (2702) share almost same hardware, except for frequency.
All I am looking for any similar transmitter which is in non-working condition so that I can buy it and replace LCD screen.
Can anybody suggest from where i can get this LCD, i tried contacting JR/HorrizonHobby, but they are not ready to sell this part as it is service part.
