Default RE: Stalled Servo?

Don't subject it to a load that will not let it move

On the Futaba servo descrption what do they mean by do not stall the servo or the board will burn?
For instance, a throttle servo. Suppose you don't take time to adjust the end points, and full throttle occurs about 15 degrees before the servo is at its extreme travel. When you fly with the transmitter at full throttle, the throttle servo will be trying to reach that point past the limit of the linkage. It will be applying force to the linkage, but the linkage will not let the servo move. That's a stalled servo.

So, adjust linkages so the servo is not mechanically restricted from reaching its end point at either extreme.

Good luck,
Dave Olson
