Default Kinda a newbie question about jr rx's...

l got a 10s given to me along with the original D940s 10 channel rx and a 236xz 6 channel rx.
will these receivers run ok if I use a 5 cell battery pack?

I've always been a futaba gu y and I've always used 6 volt packs with my pcm radios, but I dont see anything in the instruction book that says I can use 6 volts with these rx's

Thanks for any info you can give me.

Your servos are where you need to look closely. Some Futaba servos will not work on a 6V pack. I'm sure that there are some others beside Futaba. Most receivers have a voltage regulator that takes input, with in reason, and regulates it to the desired internal voltage.

Yes, most JR servo's work on 5 cell packs..that all I run..the only problem that I had was on a Retract servo (the expensive one) the standard retract servo works fine on
6 cell packs...
